Job Description:

The Role: 

Entegris is seeking an enthusiastic individual to serve the role of Customer Service Specialist based in our Decatur, Texas location.  Working with the Supervisor of Customer Support, this individual will develop, grow, and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers.  This role acts as the primary contact point for external customers. 

This role will be hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.

 What You'll Do: 

• Receive inquiries from customers and work with other employees to develop and then will provide a quote 

• Receive Purchase Orders from customers and complete a contract review to the AS9100 Quality Standard, complete the necessary setup of customer information, create part master data if needed, create the sales order, and provide feedback to the customer in a timely manner 

• Receive and process complaints to quickly aid the customer, including the customer product return process 

• Manage and Own multiple accounts, interacting routinely with external customers.  Perform the Inside Sales role for certain accounts they own including soliciting forecasts, develop pricing and discounts, and target new and existing customers for new growth. 

• Effectively interact and develop relationships with internal as well as external customers as needed to improve the role of Customer Service within the site 

• Participate in and submit creative efforts to improve our Customer Service business processes to eliminate waste and reduce transactions in alignment with lean business practices 

What We Seek:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field; or a comparable combination of education and/or work experience 

• Operating knowledge of MS Office software 

• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system a plus 

• Experience working in customer-facing organizations 

• Good written and verbal communication skills including participating, hosting, and leading online meetings 

• Ability to self-direct oneself to assess scope of work, plan and schedule, and then compete daily tasks Ability to maintain self-control during stressful situations 

• Some exposure to a manufacturing environment preferred; Machine Drawing and Blueprint Reading skills a plus 

• Candidate must be able to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws 

• Personal experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.

• High Quality Work: You will consistently create accurate quotes, sales orders, returns, workflow dashboards, and customer required documentation and portals with high levels of accuracy.  Your velocity of work will ensure your customers are served promptly. 

• Continuous innovation: you lead or participate with teams to improve, create, and implement new practices that will enhance customer service 

• Teamwork: you actively work within our site team to contribute a collaborative and innovative environment consistent with Entegris PACE Values 

• You will be viewed as a go-to source for problem solving by others
