Nasdaq is a global technology company delivering trusted investment intelligence across Public and Private Markets. Our Data Solutions teams ensure that fund data is accurate, well-governed, and ready for client-facing analytics. You'll work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where ownership and continuous improvement are expected and rewarded.

What You Will Do

As an Analyst, Data Solutions, you will contribute to Nasdaq's Audit Factory and data quality initiatives across Public and Private Markets datasets. Working from established business requirements, governance frameworks, and monitoring needs, you will design, build, test, and maintain technical audit solutions that help monitor data quality across our platforms.

In this role, you will help transform audit requirements and business rules into scalable audit logic using SQL, AI-enabled capabilities, and other analytical tools. We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, embraces change, enjoys learning new technologies and approaches, and sees new challenges as opportunities for improvement. At the same time, you are someone who takes ownership of your work, follows through on commitments, and consistently delivers high-quality results.

  • Translate audit requirements, governance frameworks, business rules, and data quality needs into technical audit logic and monitoring solutions.

  • Design, build, test, and maintain SQL-based audits and analytical controls across Nasdaq datasets.

  • Develop and enhance audit frameworks using SQL, AI-enabled capabilities, and other analytical tools.

  • Support the expansion of audit coverage across Private Markets, Market Lens, Core Data, Hedge Funds, and other datasets.

  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting tools, and supporting documentation related to audit programs.

  • Understand how data is connected across systems, products, workflows, and datasets to develop effective monitoring solutions.

  • Investigate data issues and recommend improvements to audit logic, controls, and business rules.

  • Contribute to the standardization of audit development methodologies, documentation standards, and maintenance processes.

  • Support automation initiatives and AI-assisted solutions that improve audit coverage, quality control, and operational efficiency.

What We Expect

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, financial services, operations, technology, or a related field.

  • Strong SQL proficiency, including joins, data validation, audit logic, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience supporting reporting, analytics, data quality activities, business rules, or process improvement initiatives.

  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards or similar reporting solutions.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity to understand data issues and their root causes.

  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Comfortable working in an evolving environment and adapting to new technologies, tools, and methodologies.

  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills.

What Would Be Helpful

  • Exposure to financial, investment, market, or reference data.

  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, audit methodologies, or operational controls.
