Android Engineer

Overview of The Role:

We are looking for a Middle Android Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of a large production Android application

What You'll Do:

• Develop and maintain Android features using Kotlin
• Build new UI using Jetpack Compose and support existing XML screens
• Work with ViewModels, StateFlow, LiveData, and UI state management
• Integrate REST APIs using Retrofit and OkHttp
• Maintain features that currently use RxJava and assist with gradual modernization
• Diagnose bugs and improve application performance and stability
• Write unit tests and contribute to improving test coverage
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with backend developers, QA engineers, designers, and product managers
• Support application releases and resolve production issues

What You'll Bring:

• At least 2–3 years of Android development experience
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin
• Good understanding of the Android SDK and application lifecycle
• Practical experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience maintaining XML layouts, Fragments, and View Binding
• Knowledge of MVVM and Clean Architecture principles
• Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and StateFlow
• Experience with Retrofit, OkHttp, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with RxJava
• Experience with Navigation Component
• Understanding of dependency injection
• Experience with Git and collaborative development
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Experience with unit testing and mocking
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills
