Project
This role is part of the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, which ensures the stability and availability of CoreStar’s critical applications and infrastructure.
As an L2 Application Support Engineer, you’ll handle complex incidents escalated from L1, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering teams to maintain seamless system performance.
You’ll be directly involved in improving application reliability, automation, and monitoring capabilities that power CoreStar’s global operations.
📌 Key Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) for application support and monitoring environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and API-related incidents escalated from L1 support.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective long-term solutions.
- Monitor logs and metrics using tools such as Coralogix, Grafana.
- Support deployment validation and patch testing in pre-production environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to critical production incidents.
📌 Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Application Support, SRE, or Production Operations.
- Proven experience with cloud infrastructure.
- Proven experience with Terraform (including managing alert definitions and monitoring resources via IaC).
- Deep understanding of monitoring stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Coralogix, Datadog.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment automation.
- Familiarity with networking basics, load balancers, DNS, and reverse proxies.

- Exposure to SRE best practices — SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
- Experience automating monitoring and alerting workflows via APIs.
- Familiarity with message queues and microservices architecture.
- AI tools implementation experience.
