Associate, Loan Syndication and Distribution, Investment Banking
To support and manage structured distribution solutions across the Distribution deal life-cycle, to contribute to the achievement of revenue targets while delivering exceptional client service and experience. Assisting in the arranging of syndicated facilities for clients, as a core product offering.
Custodian of senior relationships with syndication partners, including South & Central Africa region, SA and international banks, specialised debt funds and institutional investors.
Integral part of the bank’s internal governance process in relation to the pitching for, structuring of and the sanctioning of credit facilities; including opining on the appropriateness of transaction structures and pricing, and determining whether the bank can take underwriting risk on facilities.

Investment Banking
3-4 years
Proficient front office Investment Banking (IB) experience, with knowledge of local and global lending products and solutions. The development of alternative forms of distribution will allow the Bank to be more competitive, especially in funding debt to top-tier corporate, where our competitors are effectively using vehicles to place paper in the market.
3-4 years
Seasoned experience and knowledge of understanding financial modelling with the ability to conduct financial analysis and credit risk evaluations. Developing experience working independently and managing concurrent work processes and multiple workstreams with minimal supervision.
3-4 years
Seasoned experience in understanding the Lending cycle and process, supported by the ability to lead and managed Distribution deal strategies from cradle to grave.
None Negotiables:
- Proven experience in Investment Banking Structuring & Specialised Financing; with a minimum of 4 years Deal Making at a Senior level.
- Originating and Debt Products Structuring experience; building and maintaining client relationships both internal and external.
- General exposure into Global Markets Sales business, various desk functions and products.
