As Associate Manager, Inside Sales, you will lead, coach and develop a team that delivers exceptional experiences for our customers around North America. You will be responsible for managing a team of Inside Sales Specialists whose primary responsibilities are engaging and educating customers, managing a pipeline at every stage of their purchase journey, and creating owners of Lucid vehicles. You will be responsible for driving the performance of key goals and you will work alongside and collaborate with others to execute strategy and deliver on Lucid priorities.   

This individual excels at driving operational efficiency and effective pipeline management, ensuring that every stage of the customer journey is seamlessly managed. The Associate Manager, Inside Sales, is committed to coaching and developing team members, fostering a culture of accountability and ownership throughout the sales process. By prioritizing streamlined processes and hands-on leadership, this person empowers the team to deliver outstanding results and consistently create new Lucid vehicle owners through proactive engagement and education.  

  
Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team, developing and empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.   
  • Facilitate monthly performance conversations by scheduling regular one-on-one meetings with each team member to review individual and team progress against key goals.   
  • Develop team members through mentorship, coaching and effective feedback.  
  • Create a supportive environment where team members feel encouraged to discuss challenges and successes openly, fostering a culture of continuous growth and accountability  
  • Drive business priorities and achieve performance goals by planning and executing operational strategies.  
  • Actively participate in the sales journey by interacting and coaching team members, modeling what good looks like, and making sure that business priorities are met and exceptional customer service is delivered.   
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations and partner with leadership and key business partners when appropriate.   
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.  
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.  
  • Manage and coordinate Inside Sales team scheduling.  
  • Assist in the development of Inside Sales SOPs, FAQs, and workflow documentation in collaboration with groups including, but not limited to: Delivery, Service, Customer Care, Sales Success, Sales Operations and Enablement  
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.  

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of related professional experience, automotive or luxury sales/service preferred  
  • 2+ years of sales management experience  
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in retail, business, sales, or related discipline  
  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and holidays  
  • Proven track record of driving ownership and meeting or exceeding targets  
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve escalated customer and team concerns effectively  
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills  
  • Passion for a fast-paced, high-growth environment  
  • Self-starter and quick thinker with a high attention to detail  
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to relentlessly prioritize  
  • Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.   Drivers under 21 must have maintained a Driver’s License for a minimum of 3 years and successfully complete Lucid Training upon hire 
  • Ability to obtain appropriate state DMV licensing, where applicable
