TLDR

Operate, maintain, and calibrate manufacturing equipment while assembling products, inspecting quality, and supporting GMP-compliant production improvements.

About the Role

The primary purpose of the Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble, and package products while supporting daily production requirements and changing operational demands. This role is responsible for assisting with equipment setup, operation, maintenance, and assembly activities, while ensuring product quality and compliance with ResMed's Quality Management System, GMP, Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S), and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operation, maintenance, and calibration of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production systems.

  • Perform routine assembly, production, and packaging activities in accordance with established work instructions and procedures.

  • Assist in equipment setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance activities to support manufacturing operations.

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and finished goods quality inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Accurately document maintenance activities, calibration records, and production-related data.

  • Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to manufacturing processes, methods, and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality requirements, GMP standards, and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with team members and internal stakeholders to support production goals and operational efficiency.

  • Follow established procedures and work instructions while escalating issues as required.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with 5S and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Vocational Qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field.

  • Basic understanding of manufacturing, production, or assembly processes.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to follow documented procedures and work instructions.

  • Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate records.

  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and on shift schedules, if required.

Preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or technician-related environment.

  • Experience in equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, or process support.

  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, quality systems, or regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or 5S practices.
