Audience Development Fellow

Heleo is inventing the next-generation publication model by partnering with top writers and thinkers to create a network of individual brands on social media. We're looking for multiple Audience Development Fellows to join us and help run the Facebook pages of some of the Heleo Thought Leaders in our network. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about the work of one or more of our thought leaders, and practically lives online.

Responsibilities include managing distribution and scheduling for the social media accounts of our thought leaders, developing social media strategies inside our social media newsroom, responding to user feedback, and developing and managing content partnerships with other online communities and media sites.

Our interns will be an integral part of the team —you will not be getting coffee. The right person will be a motivated self-starter with a healthy mix of analytical and editorial skills.

This is a paid fellowship beginning immediately. The position will run for three months with potential for extension. This internship is open to recent graduates.

About You:

• You're passionate about, maybe even a little obsessed with, the work of one or more of our Thought Leaders.

• You're eager to learn new optimization techniques and analytical skills.

• You more or less live online, and have a native understanding of the dynamics of the major social media networks.

• You’re the person your family and friends turn to for advice on how to manage their social media accounts.

• You're an early adopter. When new social products launch, you can't help being the first person you know to figure out the dynamics that make them work.

• You can quickly make yourself an expert in a variety of subjects.

• You’re a team player and enjoy contributing to group discussion.

• You like to create, laugh, have fun, and work hard.

• Bonus: You write, program, shoot video or record podcasts for fun.
