Backend Team Lead

About the Role

FlexID™ is a cross-channel identity orchestration platform that integrates and manages authentication, fraud detection, and access controls.

With low-code journey editing tools, you can update and deploy business policies, authenticators, fraud systems, and authorization tools without changing application code.

Our FlexID group is growing, and we are looking for a strong Team Leader passionate about technology, solving real-world problems, and leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a team of software and quality engineers working on large-scale, complex, and cutting-edge systems.
• Oversee SaaS and On-Premise production systems in large-scale, mission-critical environments.
• Manage the technical backlog and advance the product to the next level.
• Work closely with customers to understand their use cases and continually improve their experience with the product.
• Promote your team's personal development and drive their progress.
• Identify and manage security risks and issues, ensuring all stakeholders deliver on time and meet required security and quality standards.
• Make key decisions to ensure the successful implementation of all initiatives.
• Define and implement methodologies to ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of our products.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Team Leader.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience in Scala/Java/.Net Core.
• Experience developing scalable, concurrent, low-latency, fault-tolerant systems.
• Understanding of SaaS products and hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and a context-switching environment.
• Personal characteristics: Team player, fast learner, highly motivated, creative, value-driven, and willing to work in a demanding environment.
• Cybersecurity background is an advantage.
