Billing Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Billing Manager to lead our billing operations within a fast-paced, global financial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, driving process improvements, and leading a high-performing team that supports revenue operations. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, leadership experience, and a passion for continuous improvement in a complex, multi-system environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Billing Analysts to ensure high performance and accuracy
• Oversee end-to-end billing operations, including invoice generation, credit memos, and revenue review
• Ensure billing aligns with contract terms and revenue recognition requirements
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Sales, and other stakeholders
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency
• Monitor and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) such as billing accuracy and ticket resolution time
• Manage escalations and resolve complex billing issues
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data across systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite)
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals and revenue validation

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 7+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or financial operations
• 2+ years of experience managing and developing teams
• Strong understanding of billing processes, revenue recognition, and financial controls
• Experience working with ERP/CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite preferred)
• Proven ability to lead process improvement and automation initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
• Experience in SaaS or subscription-based billing environments
