Why it matters: As a Business Development Associate, you will serve an integral role in securing, maintaining and growing the customer base with thoughtful outreach and exceptional service to potential clients will play a key role in driving the vision for Axios HQ as an AI-powered essential communications tool. Working on a growing team, you’ll be identifying and developing new revenue opportunities and, ultimately, growing the revenue of this successful new product.

This opportunity will allow you to work alongside our growing tech sales team and play a significant role in shaping new revenue opportunities. The details: Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for Axios HQ’s mission and have the following skills:

• Proven customer or client service experience
• Experience managing sales pipelines including researching, prospecting new business leads, outbound outreach and prioritizing based on intent-signals
• Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills, a competitive streak and a natural inclination to push oneself to be the best
• Strong project management skills and sales fundamentals
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, experience speaking with clients on the phone is a plus
• Eager for and receptive to feedback 
• Proficiency using CRM software to manage sales processes and pipelines

Don’t forget: 

• Axios HQ believes in fair and equitable pay. On target earning for this role is in the range of $65,000-$70,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skill
