Business Development professionals are responsible for the growth of a startup by generating new business opportunities and developing existing ones. They work closely with other members of the startup team, such as the Sales and Marketing departments, to identify and target new markets and customers. Biz Dev professionals need to be excellent communicators and have a strong understanding of the startup's products and services. They should also be able to research and identify new trends in their industry.
