You will be responsible for driving strategy and strong partnerships to deliver impactful growth for Codashop as the premier digital content distribution platform in Europe.

Codashop is one of the largest and most trusted top-up websites for games and online entertainment in the world. We work directly with the publishers of Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Call of Duty, Apex Legends Mobile, Diablo, and more, to enable a seamless purchase experience.

The role will lead in the business development function in European and North America regions sign and execute exciting projects with influencers, streamers, peripherals, accessories, gaming and entertainment platforms, and basically all potential partners that would help us grow and dominate such markets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, structure, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with B2C payment providers (PayPal, Paysafecard, Blik, etc) and content distribution partners (gaming portals, end-consumer entertainment platforms, etc) in Europe and North America to grow Coda’s presence in these regions as the premier digital entertainment distribution platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the most actual market trends (streaming, e-commerce, super-apps, etc), strategies and technologies to identify new partnership opportunities for gaming and digital content distribution in assigned territories.
  • Identify and pursue impactful opportunities in collaboration with marketing, product, engineering, and legal teams and take full ownership of them from start to finish.
  • Analyze local payment provider’s performance and identify areas of improvement in order to increase conversion rates. For example: acceptance rate, user retargeting, marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Manage relationships and ongoing internal and external processes with payment providers, and other existing partners, and negotiate (or renegotiate) contracts.
  • Share learnings with our global counterparts (Asia, South Asia, LATAM, META teams) to drive best practices and to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in a high-growth startup.
  • Experience in the games industry (specially mobile games) and/or financial services, payments and fintech.
  • Track record of effectively negotiating and managing partnerships.
  • Familiarity with tools and concepts related to streaming, influencers, game distribution platforms, game-keys, games downloads, etc.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Strategic thinker and data driven analyser, but also a creative problem solver and innovator.
  • Proactive, self-driven and highly motivated.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and European language is a must (German, Polish or French preferred).
  • Can be based in either the UK, France, Netherlands, Germany, Spain or Poland.
