Business Development Manager - Modern Work

The Role
Antares is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales of our Modern Workplace solutions. This is a pure sales role focused on identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities (and some existing account management)using and harnessing your knowledge in custom solutions based on Microsoft Technologies within the Modern Workplace (Productivity) practice.
You’ll be responsible for generating new business from new client relationships and expanding existing ones, the typical solutions aligned to Productivity are:
- SharePoint and Teams based Solution, including but not limited to; Intranets, Document and Information Management Solutions
- Business Process Automation through the Power Platform
- M365 Copilot
- Migrations

Managed Service
As you are a part of the sales team, you will work closely with our delivery and technical teams to ensure seamless transition post-sale, but your primary focus will be sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through proactive outreach, networking, and partner engagement (especially with Microsoft).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities
- Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to deal closure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business and IT decision-makers.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Work with internal stakeholders to align client needs with Antares’ capabilities.
- Support account transition to the delivery team and ensure a smooth customer handover.

Identify upsell, cross-sell, and recurring business opportunities within accounts.
About You
- 3+ years’ experience in business development or sales within the professional services or technology sector.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Solutions in the Modern Workplace space, such as Microsoft 365 and Teams collaboration, Power Platform and Copilot and generative AI in the workplace.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, outcome-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Excellent relationship builder with a hunter mindset.
- Knowledge of our primary NSW/VIC markets and established industry networks is highly desirable.

Previous experience with Pre-Sales would also be a desirable.
