ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Business Development Representative in Onomondo, you over-index on talent and attitude and you’re hungry – really hungry - to build yourself a proper career! You’re motivated to succeed by working hard, playing hard, playing smart, listening and learning.

This is the ideal role if you want to work within sales in a Serie A Scale up company with great career development opportunities, whilst enabling global companies to succeed within the IoT space, which ultimately will benefit people, profit and the planet!

You’ll be a key player in the sales process to attack lists of Prospects from the Market Research team on which your main task is to generate new sales opportunities by qualifying leads for the AEs to close.

You’ll be part of the Onomondo's Sales Organisation led by VP of Sales, Bruno Leite, and you’ll have very experienced SaaS sales leaders in your Sales Director, Joachim Mørch, and your BDR-manager, Greg Ignarowicz to work shoulder to shoulder with you. We’re all here to make you succeed!

You can expect to build a substantial commercial toolbox including a broad understanding of tech, in-depth knowledge of data, cloud and infrastructure, strong communication and networking skills based on continuous interaction with C-levels and tech peers internationally, sales methodologies (MEDDIC, ICP, IMP etc.), CRM (HubSpot) and you’ll develop excellent digital skills starting in the Google suite and ended in a broad range of digital tools and applications we use to automate and optimise our work daily. There’s certainly more, but these are some of the highlights.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Maintain a high volume of daily communication; phone, email and video to fuel the sales funnel and Onomondo’s growth journey
  • Execute our strategic plan to expand our customer base
  • Represent and evangelise Onomondo's product and vision in the most admirable way
  • Take active part in translating the BDR Managers guidance into action
  • Effectively communicate our value proposition and consult potential customers via inside sales
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Analysing and maintaining pipeline data in HubSpot
  • … and meeting - or exceeding - your monthly KPI’s (6 meetings/SQLs)

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Desire to work in a highly ambitious and friendly team whilst also performing independently
  • Deep urge to create a career for yourself
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to keep a high cadence of daily communication
  • Tenacity, passion and energy. Loads of it, please
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken. Additional languages are a plus
  • Acute self-awareness and desire to grow with our organisation - personally and professionally
  • And of course, you’re keen to learn about tech, IoT and the possibilities it provides for people, profit and the planet
