Position Summary
We are looking for someone creative and driven to join our Sales Development team. You will help grow our pipeline by engaging with prospects and customers to move them forward in the sales process. This is a meaningful position at the top of our sales funnel, so you’ll have a great opportunity to develop and advance your career in sales.

You will be joining a team that supports development and provides you with the tools, resources, and leadership to be successful.
What You’ll Do
- Actively engage new and existing leads by phone, email, and chat to attract new customers
- Pre-qualify opportunities by assessing mutual interest and purchasing power
- Work closely with Enterprise Account Executives to develop strategies to target prospects and secure meetings
- Achieve quarterly quotas of sales qualified opportunities
- Effectively uses Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, 6sense and other sales tools to run accounts through every step of the sales cycle.
- You are a hunter - you're always on the lookout for new deals and see sales opportunities in places others wouldn't
- You possess exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills - phone, email, and webinar
- You live in a growth mindset
- Positive demeanor, who is open to feedback and always looking for ways to improve
- Detective mentality with a curiosity of A/B testing new messaging, as well as loving the search for new information with next-level critical thinking
Must Have
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative Sales Account Executive or similar rolePrevious work experience in inbound and outbound calls and inquiries
- Qualifying prospects using BANT methodology, providing product value and securing a meeting with prospects.
- Some prior experience reference selling and presenting sales materials to prospects.
- Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology and to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce), Prospecting software like Outreach.io or similar etc.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working in cybersecurity
- Experience with sales automation and prospecting tools e.g. SalesLoft, Groove, LinkedIn a plus

The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between: $75,000 —$90,000 USD.
