Business Development Representative
Wayflyer’s mission is to revolutionise the eCommerce space by supercharging online businesses and their founders across the world. We provide MCAs (Merchant Cash Advances) to eCommerce businesses to allow them to pay for inventory and marketing for a low-cost flat fee, which they repay to us through revenue-based financing. We also use data to provide founders with insights which empower them to make decisions that will help them acquire new customers, scale and unlock their store's full potential.

• Since launching in April 2020, we’ve deployed over $550m in funding across 8 countries to 1000+ eCommerce founders. In 2021 alone, the amount of funding we deployed to customers grew by 900%.

What will you be responsible for?
- Qualify eCommerce businesses from our lead generation output
- Use an array of sales tools to outbound some of the most exciting eCommerce founders across the US
- Prospect potential clients through cold outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn to set up meetings for our Growth Capital Manager
- Present Wayflyer to potential clients
- Identify client needs
- Build trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
What skills and experience do you need?
- A real, genuine interest in startups and the eCommerce world
- An ownership mentality, always seeking to improve Wayflyer's prospects, even in functions outside of sales
- Motivated by exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment
- Thrives in an ever changing environment and is willing to go the extra mile
- Passionate about continued learning and improving
- Independent, ambitious and self-motivated
- Great communication skills, both written and oral
