Category Manager Kits

TLDR

Drive assortment optimization for the Kits range through data analysis, hypothesis testing, BI visualization, and cross-functional collaboration to boost revenue.

The core responsibility of this role is to analyze and manage the current assortment and create new
assortment within the Kits direction. This involves collecting and analyzing data, developing and testing
hypotheses, and striving to maximize the revenue of the direction.

1. Data Analysis Detective Work: Perform deep-dive analysis to find information, investigate
complex data discrepancies, and identify growth opportunities using advanced Excel tools and BI
systems.
2. Assortment Strategy Support: Assist in managing the product assortment and participate in
hypothesis testing to optimize the category performance.
3. Category Execution: Manage the operational aspects of the Kits category, ensuring tasks are
brought to completion (done is better than perfect approach) and practical results are
delivered.
4. Documentation Process Maintenance: Create and maintain comprehensive project
documentation, ensure all task updates are kept in order (e.g., in Jira/Confluence), and
standardize category processes.
5. Reporting Visualization: Consolidate data from various sources to prepare reports; use
PowerBI (or Metabase) to visualize performance metrics for stakeholders.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with colleagues across departments to
align on goals and resolve blockers independently.
7. Technical Task Management: Formulate clear requirements and write tasks for developers and
analysts; monitor their execution, control deadlines, and ensure regular status updates.

2. Advanced MS Excel/Google spreadsheets Expertise
3. Technical Interaction: Proven experience in setting tasks for technical teams
(developers/analysts) and managing the delivery pipeline.
4. English Language: B2/C1 level (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced) – capable of fluent written and
verbal communication with international colleagues.
5. BI Tools Knowledge: Experience with Metabase (or similar systems) is a plus; ability to create
and use PowerBI reports is highly desirable.
