Clinical Documentation Integrity Manager

UASI is seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Manager to lead a team of CDI professionals while serving as a trusted partner to our clients. This role is responsible for driving successful client engagements, developing and mentoring staff, ensuring operational excellence, and identifying opportunities to grow client relationships. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong CDI expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service and team success.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of CDI professionals while fostering engagement, accountability, and professional growth.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity, quality, and utilization to meet client expectations and business objectives.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring successful project delivery, clear communication, and high client satisfaction.
- Lead project implementation by managing scope, timelines, financial performance, and quality deliverables, while ensuring changes to project scope, costs, and deadlines are documented and communicated.
- Serve as the CDI subject matter expert, evaluating project outcomes and balancing quality, client satisfaction, and profitability.
- Partner with Sales and Account Management to identify client needs, develop solution opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and support business growth.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, mentor, and retain top CDI talent while collaborating with the CQR team to maintain quality standards and identify development opportunities.
- Represent UASI as a CDI expert through professional organizations, speaking engagements, networking, and other market-facing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Active CCDS credential, RN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ previous management experience
- Subject matter expertise specifically with CDI in a consulting environment
- Exceptional communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with client and staff.
