Atomic Cartoons is looking for an intern to join Marvel's Spidey And His Amazing Friends CG Animation Team for 12 weeks during the summer!
Atomic Cartoons Inc. is an award-winning animation studio with locations in Vancouver's Mt. Pleasant Animation District, Ottawa's Hintonburg neighborhood and LA. Since its inception over 20 years ago, Atomic Cartoons has created and produced numerous 2D and CG animation productions including Princess Power and Last Kids on Earth. Atomic is well known for its artist-friendly culture and flexible work environment. We are always looking for artists of all levels to join our team!
ABOUT:
Our program offers both artistic and production focused internships. Internships are either department focused or allow interns to work across multiple departments on a production. Internships are generally offered during the late spring and summer months (May-August) and run between 8-16 weeks.
The aim of our program is to give Interns confidence as they enter the Animation industry, to teach and develop skills in their department with hands-on, real world experience and guidance in professional skills not typically seen in an internship. We provide a safe environment for students to experiment, even make mistakes, and support their growth through mentorship.

FAQ
DO I NEED TO BE A STUDENT?
- Current students enrolled in a post secondary animation or production program between semesters will be given priority for this internship however we are open to considering recent graduates who have not yet had their first opportunity in the industry.
WORKING REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have an interest or focus in CG animation.
- Must be available for 12 weeks between June 5, 2023 and August 25, 2023.
- Interns will have to option to work in studio, from home or a combination of the two
- Applicants must be currently legally eligible to work in Canada at the time of the internship.
- Must be located in BC during the time of the internship.
- Applicants must be available to work full time (40 hours a week)
