Ajax Systems production includes four factories, two of which are located in Ukraine, one in Turkey and one in Vietnam. The selection of components for Ajax device manufacturing is determined by the presence of manufacturer declarations confirming compliance with RoHS requirements. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership:

    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 2 finance and accounting professionals.

    • Organize workload, delegate tasks, and ensure high quality and accuracy of output.

    • Reporting & Big 4 Audit:

      • End-to-end responsibility for Tax, Statutory, and Group Management/IFRS reporting.

      • Supervise and successfully pass Big 4 audits (both for group consolidation purposes and for securing/confirming PIT tax exemptions in the Free Zone).

      • ERP Implementation (SAP): Play an active key role in designing, implementing, and rolling out SAP for the local entity.

      • Reconciliation & Customs Accounting:

        • Reconcile customs records with local bookkeeping and financial accounting.

        • Ensure compliance with all accounting and reporting specifics of the Desbas Free Zone.

        • Operational Controls & Inventory: Supervise scrapping processes, scrap accounting, and components returned to suppliers.

        • Payroll Review: Perform high-level reviews of payroll calculations, social security compliance, and proper reflection in accounting and reporting.

        • Tax & Government Relations: Direct interaction and liaison with Turkish tax authorities, customs officials, and the Desbas Free Zone management administration.

        • Transfer Pricing (TP) & Profitability: Monitor Transfer Pricing compliance and ensure proper gross margin control for the local entity.

        • Ad-Hoc Duties: Execute other finance, operational, or business-related tasks as assigned by the Deputy Group CFO and company management to support business growth.

Key Candidate Requirements:
  • Language Skills:

  • Turkish — Fluent / Native (essential for interaction with tax authorities, customs, and auditors).

  • English — Upper-Intermediate / Advanced (for regular interaction with Group HQ and executives).

  • Experience:

  • 3–5+ years in a senior accounting/finance leadership role within a manufacturing enterprise, CPA certification.

  • +3 years free zone experience.

  • Deep understanding of Turkish Free Zone regulations  and tax incentives.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP (ERP) implementation/usage and Big 4 audit procedures.
