Civil 3D Engineer
TLDR
Develops 3D BIM models and coordination drawings, ensuring constructability and timely delivery while adhering to project playbooks and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to VIATechnik's playbook, standards and Project checklist
- Develop 3D models as required for the project tasks
- Ensure models are constructable in the field
- Conduct clash detection and coordination
- Produce detailed coordination drawings
- Calculate cut/fill volumes and other related civil tasks
- Collaborate with the Project Manager
- Conduct feasibility studies and draft technical blueprints
- Troubleshoot and resolve project issues
- Accomplish project accurately and submit on the agreed deadline
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering/Sanitary Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or any engineering related course.
- Proficient in BIM-related software ( e.g. Civil 3D)
- Must have basic plan reading knowledge (Civil, Structural, Architecture, and MEPF)
- Must have basic knowledge in Navisworks and Revit
- Has good grasp of Engineering and Architecture principles
