Clinical Marketing Manager
TLDR
Strategic marketer translating complex clinical data into compelling value collateral and building surgeon/KOL relationships to drive adoption in hepatobiliary and neurology medical device portfolios.
We are seeking a strategic Clinical Marketing Manager to drive downstream marketing, product adoption, and clinical education for our advanced medical technology portfolios. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical innovation and clinical execution, focusing specifically on our Hepatobiliary (surgical/interventional) and Neurology specialties.
You will be responsible for translating complex clinical data into compelling value propositions and content and building strong relationships with surgeons and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the execution of marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute strategic marketing plans that drive adoption of our medical devices and services within hepatobiliary surgery and neurology specialties.
- KOL Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with leading clinicians, surgeons, and medical societies to champion our technology, gather feedback, and collaborate on clinical evidence.
- Content & Campaign Development: Transform complex clinical data and case studies into clear, impactful marketing collateral and promotional campaigns.
- Sales Enablement & Training: Partner with internal teams and field associates to deliver robust clinical and technical training, ensuring the commercial team can confidently articulate our value proposition to hospital administrators and clinicians.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging clinical techniques to identify new growth opportunities and adjust market positioning accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related clinical/technical field (MBA or advanced clinical degree is a plus)
- 3–5+ years of experience in medical device marketing, clinical marketing, or product management
- Prior experience or deep familiarity with hepatobiliary/general surgery or neurology/neurosurgery procedures and technologies is highly preferred
- Exceptional ability to translate sophisticated clinical and technical workflows into clear, concise, and persuasive messaging for diverse audiences
- Ability to travel periodically nationwide for clinical site visits, conferences, and field team accompaniment
