Core Network Software Team Leader

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Software Team Leader to lead a team developing core components of our Network-as-a-Service platform.

You’ll combine people leadership with deep technical involvement—shaping architecture, writing production code, developing engineers, and solving complex challenges across networking, cloud, performance, scale, and security.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Drive the architecture and development of our core Network-as-a-Service components.
• Stay hands-on through coding, technical design, and complex problem-solving.
• Build high-performance, cloud-native networking services using technologies such as VPP, DPDK, and Kubernetes.
• Promote engineering excellence while creating an environment where talented engineers can grow and do their best work.

What You’ll Bring

• 2+ years of experience managing a software development team.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on programming experience in Go, C++, C, Python, or a similar language.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including protocols, routing, and tunneling.
• Experience working with Linux-based systems.
• Experience with cloud environments and cloud networking.
• Experience with high-scale production environments running on on-premises or cloud-based Kubernetes solutions.
• Experience with high-performance packet processing technologies such as VPP or DPDK—an advantage.
• Experience with AI/ML, AI-driven features, or modern AI development tools and frameworks.
• Strong technical leadership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to learn quickly and operate in a fast-moving environment.
