Corporate Events Specialist

As a Corporate Events Specialist with ReliaQuest, you will be responsible for managing numerous internal and external events and experiences. You will support programs that drive engagement, generate interest, build pipeline, and ultimately contribute to revenue for the company.
In this role, you will manage several projects and programs that are critical to the success of the corporate events & experiences team. This includes, but is not limited to budget management, sourcing vendors, contract negotiations, on-site setup/strike, and calendaring. Your day-to-day will include moving between many ongoing initiatives driven by your peers, collaborating with fellow marketing teammates to support campaign initiatives, partnering with sellers to build programs in the field, and maintaining end-to-end ownership over all important event details.
The everyday hustle:
- Assist in the coordination of internal programs & customer events, including: quarterly office events, annual all company conference, customer user conference, sporting game suite experiences and more.
- Support the management of events in all areas including venue research, selecting vendors, promotion, lodging & transportation arrangements, etc.
- Facilitate the collection of event feedback and assist in reporting and metrics on activity results.
- Work with the team to ensure all organizational management tools are up-to-date and optimized, including: internal event calendars, spreadsheets, shared libraries, budget documents, speaker repository, and more.
- Own the management of promotional “swag” with an uncompromising commitment to alignment to ReliaQuest’s premium brand.
- Bring creativity to each event and staying on top of the latest trends.
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1-2 years of experience in an events role.
- Energy and enthusiasm with experience supporting and engaging across multiple teams and internal/external stakeholders
- A self-starter with exceptional project management and organizational skills with an ability to prioritize independently, and delegate tasks when appropriate.
- A creative mindset with a background in creating experiences for executive clients.
- Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment and manage multiple programs at one time.
- Ability to manage budgets and an aptitude for working external vendors to drive efficiency and optimum outcomes.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to travel when required.
