Creative Design Lead, Office of the CEOs

TLDR

Lead end-to-end design for high-stakes executive narratives, translating senior briefs into polished visuals while setting team design standards and leveraging AI for speed.

monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

The Office of the CEOs is a small, multidisciplinary team that works closely with monday.com’s executive leadership on high-priority company initiatives. We bring together design, data, storytelling, and strategy to move fast on projects that make an impact.
We’re looking for a Creative Design Lead who owns the craft end-to-end — from shaping a raw strategic idea into a compelling narrative, to shipping polished work that reaches board members, investors, customers, and the entire company. You’ll also raise the standard for how design is practiced within the team.
This role is for a designer who thrives with ambiguity, moves fast without losing quality, and knows how to make complex ideas feel simple and inevitable.

About the role:

  • Lead the design of high-stakes materials: executive presentations, strategic narratives, and conceptual visions that directly support the CEOs agenda

  • Translate ambiguous, complex briefs — often from senior leadership — into clear, compelling, and visually sophisticated outputs

  • Set and uphold design standards for the team; establish and evolve a shared visual language across projects

  • Own projects end-to-end, from early-stage concept through final production, often managing multiple in parallel

  • Partner closely with content writers and data analysts to create integrated, cross-disciplinary work

  • Leverage AI tools and an AI-led approach to design to accelerate creative output, explore concepts faster, and push the quality bar higher

    Requirements:

  • 8+ years of design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating excellence in creative design projects, executive storytelling, and web design

  • Proven experience leading design work in a senior or lead capacity — setting direction, influencing agenda and raising the bar for others

  • Exceptional visual storytelling skills: you can take a complex idea and make it feel clear, human, and compelling

  • Deep proficiency in Figma and the broader design toolset (motion, prototyping, print/digital production)

  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders or executive teams — you know how to navigate that environment and communicate with confidence

  • Strong presentation skills; you communicate design decisions with clarity and precision to senior audiences

  • Comfortable and experienced working with AI design tools; you use AI not as a shortcut but as a force multiplier for quality and speed

  • Academic background in graphic design, visual communication, interaction design, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated expertise

  • Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment where priorities shift and standards are high

What monday.com can offer you:

  • Join a customer-obsessed team where transparency and ownership are how we actually operate — not just things we put on a wall.

  • Work on a multi-product suite powered by advanced AI, where what you ship reaches hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide

  • Competitive salary, benefits, bonus potential, and equity eligibility for many roles — we believe people who build the product should share in its success

  • Grow fast through a dedicated L&D team, AI workshops, bootcamps, and internal hackathons — the industry moves quick and so do we

  • A collaborative, global culture backed by Employee Resource Groups and workplace teams across New York, Tel Aviv, London, Munich, Warsaw, Tokyo, Sydney, and more
