Customer Care Associate (REMOTE)

We're building a new sleep product & looking for a personable and detail-oriented Customer Care Associate/Intern!
About us:
Simple Habit, a mental wellness & meditation platform, was created in early 2016 by CEO/Founder Yunha Kim. Our mission? Help people live better. In just a couple of years, Simple Habit grew mostly organically to $5M in ARR. Shortly after, we raised $10M Series A round. In 2020, based on insights & learnings, Simple Habit decided to launch a new line of product. Our mission has stayed the same; to help people live better....but our focus has shifted to solving our users #1 wellness problem, sleep!
Did you know that almost 60% of adults suffer from insomnia? They struggle to fall asleep or sleep through the night, leading to inadequate sleep and a wide variety of negative symptoms during the day (anxiety, weight gain, irritability, depression). Sleep Ritual is a "first of it's kind" wellness program that combines CBTI, content & 1:1 personalized sleep coaching to help adults sleep better, fast — without pills or side effects. And guess what? It works!
Location
We're a fully distributed team of 15 FTE & 30 contractors, working remotely across 4 different timezones. Please note that our team works on GMT-7 PST-friendly hours, so your location will affect your work hours.
Must have:
- Pursuing or completed a bachelor or masters degree in any related field
- Passion for people and ability to proactively “get things done” in a fast paced environment
- Creative mindset to solve issues and to embrace changes
- Excellent time management, multitasking and prioritization skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Positive approach to problems and a can-do attitude around getting things done
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and efficiently
Nice to have:
- 1+ years of customer care associate experience
- Knowledge of Office Management responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Advanced skills in Office suite – Excel, Word - but also Mac iOS programs
- Experience with Slack
Responsibilities
- This role will be anywhere from 15-20 hours a week/long-term (ideally a year long commitment) with flexibility to work 1-2 hours on the weekends
- This will be a remote role
- You will report to our Head of Product
- You will work cross functionally with our sleep coaches, product, and engineering team
- Reporting software issues and bug crashes to the engineering team
- Reporting user feedback to the product team
- Working with our coach team to address user requests
- You will be in charge of Simple Habit & Sleep Ritual customer center- answering around 45-50 emails per day
- Manage and operate a multitude of platforms to perform responsibilities
- Ad hoc team requests
