Customer Success Manager – Southern California Region
TLDR
Manage grower relationships end to end while installing field devices and turning agricultural data into better irrigation and crop-management decisions.

Manage the customer experience from implementation and onboarding through ongoing adoption, support, and renewal.

Build strong, trusted relationships with growers, farm managers, agricultural partners, and other project stakeholders.

Coordinate and support the installation, setup, monitoring, and maintenance of Arable field devices.

Serve as a knowledgeable resource on regional agriculture, irrigation practices, and water-use efficiency.

Understand each customer’s goals, challenges, and operating environment, and tailor support accordingly.

Conduct regular customer check-ins, field visits, project reviews, and training sessions.

Identify and resolve customer concerns, coordinating with internal teams when additional technical or product support is required.

Drive customer adoption, satisfaction, retention, and long-term value.

Gather customer feedback and share field insights with Arable’s Product, Agronomy, Engineering, Commercial, and Customer Success teams.

Help identify opportunities to expand Arable’s value within existing customer relationships and projects.

Maintain accurate records of customer activities, project progress, risks, and follow-up actions.

Travel regularly throughout the Southern California territory, with periodic overnight travel to Lodi and occasional travel to other Arable locations.

Experience in customer success, account management, agricultural consulting, farm operations, irrigation management, agtech, or a related customer-facing role.

Strong familiarity with agriculture and the ability to communicate knowledgeably about irrigation and crop-management practices.

The ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with growers.

Strong communication, training, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

The ability to manage multiple customers, projects, stakeholders, and priorities..

A hands-on working style and comfort spending time in agricultural field environments.

Willingness to travel frequently throughout the region, approximately 25–40%, with occasional overnight travel.

Comfort safely accessing irrigation equipment or working at moderate heights when required, following all safety procedures.

A bachelor’s degree in agronomy, agriculture, crop science, irrigation, agricultural engineering, business, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

A genuine interest in helping customers succeed and advancing more efficient, sustainable agricultural practices.
