About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our People Analytics Team and help our stakeholders make smart, data driven decisions and make WeWork a great place to work. Data underlies decisions related to hiring, promotion, compensation, engagement, development, careers, attrition, benefits, diversity, and the culture at the heart of WeWork. We are focused on providing self-service analytics through visualizations and interactive tools.
In this role, you will report to the Manager of People Operations and help define how the business uses & interprets data. The ideal candidate is passionate about data analysis, people insights and bringing value to the People Team functions.
You Will
Act as an internal consultant to HR partners and business leaders by understanding business needs / problems, data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key partners
Manage ad hoc analysis requests, preparation, and presentation of insights leveraging the people analytics engineering team to help answer business stakeholder questions and support their objectives.
Mentor people team members and business leaders regarding how to think about data
Translate talent and business issues into questions and hypotheses that can be tested with data
Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from HR cross-functional stakeholders
Identify trends and make recommendations to address the top issues to the People Leadership team

You have 2-4 years of experience in Tableau desktop required. Familiarity with Tableau server with experience in permissioning and group membership
You have the ability to write complex SQL queries in at least one SQL variant (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift) and deep understanding of aggregate functions, joins and subqueries
You have 2+ years of related experience implementing, managing, and integrating data analytics and visualization tools and programs
You have an analytical background and recent experience in business intelligence and data storytelling (visual communication, dashboard design, and written internal communications)
You’ve demonstrated net positive contributions to company community and culture and enjoy working with autonomy and shaping an important function
You love designing and analyzing employee experience surveys
You thrive in an ever-changing environment and love to navigate through ambiguity in the organization
Bonus Points
Tableau Certified Associate is a plus
Active Tableau public profile with relevant dashboards
Experience with Python, R or another programming language is a plus
Experience with Qualtrics or other survey platforms is a plus
Experience working in an HR organization is a plus
