Design, develop, and implement quantitative behavior metrics that assess AV performance across diverse driving scenarios and geofences

Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track simulation and fleet metrics across geographies and software versions
- Identify performance gaps and regressions by analyzing large-scale vehicle logs and simulation data

Drive the definition of metric thresholds and acceptance criteria to support geofence expansion decisions

Communicate findings and metric frameworks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on metric design and development or performance evaluation
Strong proficiency in Python in production environments with standard repo practices
Experience working with time-series or sensor data; familiarity with robotics or AV data is a plus
Ability to work cross-functionally and distill complex technical requirements from diverse stakeholders
Proficiency in C++
Experience with simulation-based validation and metrics
