Service Reliability Engineer (Data Platform)

How you contribute

• Build and operate the Mambu Cloud Platform by ensuring that the databases are agnostic, highly available and can scale without any downtime for the customer
• Ensure development teams can autonomously make use of the database platforms to deliver product features at a higher pace, with reduced coordination
• Develop and improve delivery and deployment processes for the Mambu database services while ensuring accessibility, integration, performance, availability and security for all the tools used in the product life cycle
• Setup and run best practices for database management
• Increase observability and operability by helping engineering teams get deep insights into their applications in production

What's in your toolbox

• 3-5 years of experience, including at least 2 years with database administration at scale, at least 1 year of Docker/Kubernetes/Public cloud
• Extensive experience in managing databases, MySQL, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL 
• Good understanding of cloud native applications and distributed systems 
• Good knowledge of Linux systems (inc. networking and security)
