DevOps Engineer

Join BlackStone eIT as a DevOps Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our software development and operational processes. In this position, you will be responsible for implementing best practices that foster collaboration between development and operations, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery.

Your role will encompass automating deployment processes, managing infrastructure, and advocating for effective communication among teams. Leveraging your expertise in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD methodologies, you will help us achieve high performance and reliability in our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery
• Manage and optimize cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) to support application deployment
• Work closely with development teams to gather requirements and provide effective solutions
• Automate processes to enhance operational productivity and streamline workflows
• Monitor systems and applications to identify performance issues and implement fixes
• Contribute to the development of security policies within the infrastructure
• Document technical processes and maintain code repositories
• Participate in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience in a DevOps or related role
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.)
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
• Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Understanding of networking concepts and system security practices
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile work environment
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in teams
• A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in technology.
