Responsibilities

• Work closely with leaders across development, product and support teams to build high scalability and availability processes
• Leverage Jenkins configuration management system to develop automation and monitoring across web application life cycle management
• Automate scalable, highly available application deployments in a greenfield environment and improve efficiency of infrastructure 
• Implement code, automation tools, custom tools and scripts as necessary to evolve systems and processes
• Document and manage implemented systems and processes across internal and external applications

Qualifications

• 2 - 3 year’s experience in a DevOps role or Agile organization.
• Expertise with one or more tools to manage software deployment such as Jenkins and Ansible
• Hands on experience preferable with host and cloud infrastructure, most notably AWS
• Working knowledge of VPC’s, Route53, EC2 Infrastructure, S3 Buckets, Cloud Watch, IAM and RDS
• Strong understanding of Linux and Linux administration.
• Automate build and deployments with GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Rancher and Kubernetes deployments
• Any experience with Load balancing, reverse proxying, ssh tunneling and security with HAProxy highly preferable
• Experience with Terraform a plus
• Proficient in creating scripts to automate processes using Python and bash used in DevOps life cycles
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical personals.
