As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will effectively respond to critical security outages related to security systems faults, security software bugs within the infrastructure while maintaining and supporting the integrity of the entire company platform. Other responsibilities include:

The Job

• Provides Security level 2 escalation of support security tickets
• Effectively respond to critical security outages related to systems faults and software bugs within the infrastructure
• Provide after-hours support for Security Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance
• Work with various security vendors on problem security tickets and drive vendors to resolution and root cause
• Developing and maintaining appropriate system documentation to ensure that documentation is current
• Ensures optimum efficiencies for the utilization of cloud services.
• Mentor junior engineers within the team

You

• 2+ years of Security System Administration
• 2+ year of intermediate Security Linux Administration experience (Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat, etc)
• 2+ year of intermediate Security Cloud technologies experience (such as AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 2+ years of Networking and Security experience (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, TLS)
• 2+ years of Experience with Troubleshooting / Support experience
• 2+ years of experience on Security Standards, best practice and audit process (PCI, SOC1 or 2)
• Agile Methodologies experience
• Great communication skills (English B2+ or above)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, Network Balancers, S3, Cloudwatch, Route53, API GW, Lambda function, Cloudfront, ECS, etc.
• Experience with AWS Security Hub, Cloud Conformity, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, Log consolidation, etc.
• Experience building security-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
• AWS SysOps Administrator Associate
