About the role:
Our client is a global leader in delivering software for the intelligent edge. The company’s technology has been powering the safest, most secure devices in the world since 1981 and is found in billions of products.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated DevSecOps Engineer to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of their cloud infrastructure and applications.
Some of the main responsibilities for the role include:
Demonstrate cloud expertise with AWS and Azure
Demonstrate expertise in data life cycle management, including data protection, encryption, and securing sensitive information
Implement and manage security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
Manage SQL and Non-SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and availability.
Implement and maintain Kafka for efficient and reliable message brokering.
Implement and manage Vault for secrets management and secure access controls.
Use catching technologies like Redis to optimize application performance
Use Terraform for infrastructure automation, ensuring consistency and scalability
Use Helm and container orchestration platforms for managing and scaling containerized applications
Design, implement, and maintain CICD pipelines to automate the software delivery process
Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- +5 years of experience working as a DevOps or DevSecOps
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions
- Experience with Kafka, Vault, Terraform, Helm, Redis and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ability to take business requests and break them down into manageable steps to achieve a goal
- Able to see the big picture of how systems interact with one another
