The Role:

As an Onomondo DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing secure and scalable DevOps practices across our platform. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure our platform is secure, reliable, and efficient.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Implement DevSecOps practices and tools to ensure secure and scalable platform operations across the organization.
  • Design and implement security controls to protect data and networks
  • Develop, maintain and secure build pipelines for software releases and updates
  • Work with development teams to ensure secure coding practices are implemented
  • Continuously monitor and improve platform security and compliance
  • Implement and manage automated testing and deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues related to security and performance
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security and compliance practices
  • Participate in security and compliance audits and assessments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security and compliance standards and best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or security engineering
  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services, such as AWS or Azure
  • Strong scripting and programming skills with languages such as Javascript, golang and Bash
  • Knowledge of IoT security principles and best practices
  • Strong experience with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, VPC, and IAM
  • Experience with secure coding practices and software development lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, such as Ansible, and Terraform
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with security and compliance frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework and/or SOC-2
  • Experience with blue team security operations is a plus
  • Experience with threat modeling, threat intelligence, artifact, infrastructure and dependency scanning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure prompt response to system incidents and outages.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
