Director of FP&A - Data and Financial Systems Integration

We are looking for an experienced FP&A Director to join our rapidly growing finance team.  In this high visibility role, you will be responsible for data strategy and integration across our financial systems.  This role will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis.  You will partner with finance and business leaders to streamline data across systems and help improve our analytic and decision-making capabilities as well as support ongoing financial reporting.  We are looking for individuals that know how to collaborate across functions to solve problems efficiently and effectively.

You Will:

• Develop a thorough understanding of data across financial and operational systems and how different types of information is used for reporting, analytics and decision making.  
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and integrate data across those systems, continuously monitor and refine over time.  There will be a heavy emphasis on both operations and financial data, to break down silos, concentrated expertise and conflicting data on the business side as well as across finance.
• Develop an overall data and system strategy to better define data across systems, which systems will be utilized for which types of reporting (financial, operational, etc) and drive alignment across the organization to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the technology team to lead the consolidation of data into a single data warehouse from various sources to help ensure consistency, accuracy and reliability of data across the company.  
• Partner with finance and business leaders to understand ongoing data and reporting needs, and lead projects in collaboration with technology to deliver on those needs.
• Participate on the ERP implementation team and provide ongoing support for downstream system impacts.
• Provide master data governance including design and maintenance of data structure and hierarchies across financial systems and other data interfaces.
• Lead design and development of improved and expanded financial and operational reporting to cover key performance indicators across verticals and build out automated dashboards to improve analysis and decision making.
• Support special projects across accounting and finance to drive data integration and optimization.

You Will Bring to the Table:

• 8+ years of progressive FP&A and/or systems-related experience in a high growth SaaS company.
• Experience with enterprise financial systems, data integration, development of financial and operational dashboards and experience participating on ERP implementation projects.   
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to work effectively cross functionally as well as strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and fully remote environment
• Strong process improvement skills, with a proven track record of building out world class finance organizations and processes.
• Ability to proactively seek out opportunities to analyze business problems, make recommendations, and translate complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.
• General understanding of corporate finance and working knowledge of GAAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, information systems, or related field preferred; MBA a plus

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges are developed with the support of benchmarks (competitive San Francisco rates for US-based roles) and industry best practices.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $205,000 - $230,000.
