The Growth Operations team at Snowflake is responsible for accelerating the growth of the business by evaluating, planning and executing strategic growth initiatives across the company. The team is building the new capabilities needed to scale Snowflake into new markets and customer segments, introduce new product and service offerings and sell through new channels. We are looking for a leader with sales, product and operational experience, with a clear track record of driving business growth, who will lead a team of talented builders who lay the foundation for operations at scale.
In this role you will work with Snowflake’s executive team and functional leaders within Sales Strategy and Business Operations and across the organization to evaluate growth opportunities, identify the operational capabilities needed to execute, frame the problem set and scope of execution, and partner with functional leaders to design and execute implementation plans. In this role you will have a significant opportunity to impact the growth, direction and future of Snowflake.

About the Job:
- Evaluate strategic growth opportunities: geographic expansion, new vertical market entry, new product and service introduction, new partnership and distribution models
- You will lead a team that will prioritize, scope, and build the capabilities needed to scale Snowflake's portfolio
- Develop business cases, including opportunity sizing, market and competitive strategy, functional requirements and execution timeline. Partner with finance business partners to develop supporting budgetary estimates.
- Work with the executive team and functional leadership to design and develop execution plans, leveraging best practices, subject matter expertise and internal lessons learned
- Partner with Systems and Data teams to define solutions for new operational capabilities and manage execution through the project lifecycle
- Manage day to day execution of strategic initiatives, including framing the problem set, scoping and structuring execution plans, facilitating working team meetings, performing quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform decision making, developing and tracking deliverables and reporting on progress
- Proactively identify the need for stakeholder involvement, identify and resolve roadblocks and risks and manage day to day execution of the initiative(s)
- Facilitate joint problem-solving with mid-level and senior-level business partners
- Develop metrics to measure and manage initiative progress and success relative to objectives, works the Analyst team to implement data-driven reporting
- Build and employ data-driven and scalable business processes to support concurrent execution of growth initiatives within company time and resource constraints
Professional Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years total professional experience
- At least 3 years of managing a team
- Strong academic record required; Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred, engineering degree a plus
- Experience in B2B technology market environments with exposure to Software or SaaS businesses
- Understanding of core business processes in a B2B technology environment; sales, marketing, product development, customer support and success, professional services
- Prior experience in management consulting with a focus on operational transformation, corporate strategy/development, product or technical program management
- Experience identifying, evaluating and analyzing business opportunities
- Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, revenue facing projects
- Experience working across multiple business units/functions to drive decisions
- Working knowledge of sales processes, systems and performance analysis
- Demonstrated experience managing high-performance teams
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- Ability to develop trusted peer to peer relationships across a diverse set of stakeholder communities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to balance time and effort across multiple projects while supporting emergent needs
- Team player able to effectively lead virtual, cross-functional teams
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to author presentations and written documents at a senior executive communications level
- Experience with business modeling; operational and financial analysisHigh energy, positive attitude and motivated
