Director of Product, Fincrime
📍London / UK Remote | 💰 £120,000 - £160,000 + Benefits | A week in the life of a Product Manager at Monzo
We are looking for a senior leader who will be responsible for building our Onboarding, Financial Crime and Fraud capability, working closely with Engineering and Data teams to help identify and automate our detection, decisioning and actions on Fincrime and Fraud, whilst also driving growth across the business and having a high level of thought and empathy for the customer experience. This leader will need to have deep empathy for our customers and a desire to make an already well-loved customer experience organisation world-leading.
You will:
- Build the product roadmap and strategy for the end-to-end customer experience with our financial crime processes and the development of our fincrime decision platform
- Partner closely with our leaders of for Financial Crime, Risk, Operations, Growth and our Chief Product Officer on strategy and execution of the roadmap
- Sit on the leadership team for the Product organisation
- Manage and develop the Product teams within the Financial Crime org
- Make sure our customer and customer operations experience is a key differentiator for Monzo
You have:
- Experience leading a product area, including direct management of a wide group of Product Managers as well as working closely with or directly leading design and data teams
- Past experience building impactful product as an individual contributor prior to moving into a leadership role
- Strong people leadership principles and a passion for developing others
- A love of highly cross-functional teams including close partnership with Engineering, Data and Operations leaders
- A deep empathy for customers and a desire to build a financial services organization that delights our 5M and growing users
Logistics

- This role can be based in our London office or remotely with some regular travel
