Director of Product Management (Internal AI Product Strategy & Ops), Remote

This job is no longer available and isn't accepting applications.

TLDR

Own the internal AI strategy and operating model to scale AI across 2,000+ employees, shaping knowledge platforms, governance, and adoption.

Aledade is dedicated to transforming value based care through innovative technology. Aledade bet early and seriously on AI, both in our technology and platforms for value based care, as well as changing how teams across the company work. This role will own the Product strategy and operations for scaling what the strongest teams have proven into the way all 2,000+ employees work every day.   As Director, Internal AI Product Strategy & Operations, you own Aledade's internal AI strategy and operating model: how employees work with AI, the direction of the internal knowledge and skill platform they rely on, the standards that keep it safe, tools and methods for collaboration, and the way all of it adapts as the technology moves. You will collaborate closely with internal product and technology teams building the AI platform upon which we build our internal workflows and operations. You set the direction for where Aledade is going, decide what to invest in and what to retire, and run the operating rhythm that keeps it on track.    There is flexibility for this role to be a Director or Senior Director based on qualifications for the right candidate. Primary Duties:
  • Own the ongoing internal AI strategy and operating model: decide which capabilities to invest in, which to retire, and keep the model current as tools and needs change.
  • Set product direction for the internal knowledge/context layer and the library of reusable skills, agents, and workflows; set priorities and partner with engineering and data on delivery.
  • Own the standards, governance, and trust model with security, legal, and the AI Governance Committee so employees move fast within clear, safe guardrails.
  • Own the metrics that show whether the internal AI investment is paying off (adoption, reuse, change in how work gets done) and reset priorities each cycle.
  • Set the adoption strategy and the bar for what scales company-wide; deliver through L&D, an ambassador network, and department leaders.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • 12+ years of experience, including ownership of a strategic program or internal function. (Senior Director: 15+ years with prior Director-level leadership.)
  • A track record setting strategy and running operations for a company-wide capability, sustained over time, not just stood up once.
  • High fluency with modern AI tools and a clear point of view on where they are heading and what that means for an internal operating model.
  • Evidence of working across departments and partnering with governance, security, or legal to land something durable.
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
  • Familiarity with AI assistants and coding agents, internal knowledge or search platforms, or skill and plugin ecosystems.
  • Experience owning the operating model for an internal platform with many stakeholder teams.
  • Experience partnering with security, legal, or governance functions on responsible AI use.
  • Background in healthcare or another regulated industry.
  • Physical Requirements:

Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.

    Who We Are:

Aledade, a public benefit corporation, exists to empower the most transformational part of our health care landscape - independent primary care. We were founded in 2014, and since then, we've become the largest network of independent primary care in the country - helping practices, health centers and clinics deliver better care to their patients and thrive in value-based care. Additionally, by creating value-based contracts across a wide variety of health plans, we aim to flip the script on the traditional fee-for-service model. Our work strengthens continuity of care, aligns incentives and ensures primary care physicians are paid for what they do best - keeping patients healthy. If you want to help create a health care system that is good for patients, good for practices and good for society - and if you're eager to join a collaborative, inclusive and remote-first culture - you've come to the right place.

What Does This Mean for You?

At Aledade, you will be part of a creative culture that is driven by a passion for tackling complex issues with respect, open-mindedness and a desire to learn. You will collaborate with team members who bring a wide range of experiences, interests, backgrounds, beliefs and achievements to their work - and who are all united by a shared passion for public health and a commitment to the Aledade mission.

In addition to time off to support work-life balance and enjoyment, we offer the following comprehensive benefits package designed for the overall well-being of our team members:
