Director of Strategic Programs, Product Management

Wrike is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Strategic Programs to join our Product Management team. Reporting to the VP of Product (we do not have CPO role), this person will be responsible for conducting strategic research and executing strategic projects that originate from our product organization.
As the Director of Strategic Programs, you will play a key role in helping Wrike identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather market intelligence, identify emerging trends, and develop insights that will inform our product roadmap. This is an Individual Contributor role, with a high volume of horizontal collaboration and leading cross-functional projects. This role location is US remote and is expected to have regular business trips to Wrike core office locations.
Your Manager will be Alexey Korotich, VP of Product.

Product Organization at Wrike consists of Product Managers, Designers and Analysts - all together ~70 team members. They work collaboratively in scrum cross-functional teams of engineers, QAs, and engineering managers. You will also work closely with Umberto Abate, Head of Product Design at Wrike
How You’ll make an impact
- Conduct opportunity analysis for new market segments/target audiences in the collaborative work management space
- Conduct market landscape research and identify opportunities for growth for Wrike's platform
- Develop and execute strategic projects that align with Wrike's product roadmap
- Build and present business cases for strategic growth opportunities for Wrike
- Define product strategy for a market segment with collaborative work management space
- Connect the strategy for a market segment with Wrike's platform roadmap
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Engineering, to drive alignment on strategic initiatives
- Act as a thought leader on emerging trends and best practices in strategic planning in the collaborative work management space
- Run strategic projects without having direct reports or direct authority, demonstrating leadership and influence skills in a matrixed environment
You will achieve your best if you have
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, market research, or product management in the software industry
- Experience conducting market research, analyzing data, and identifying insights
- Experience building and presenting business cases for strategic growth opportunities
- Experience defining product strategy for a market segment in the software industry
- Experience connecting strategy for a market segment with the platform roadmap
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
