Education Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking an Education Specialist to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs and initiatives. This role works closely with educators, students, families, and community partners to improve learning outcomes and ensure programs effectively meet the needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational programs, curriculum, and learning resources.
• Provide guidance and support to teachers, educators, and program staff.
• Assess student and program needs and recommend appropriate improvements.
• Monitor program effectiveness and track educational outcomes.
• Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and professional development activities.
• Research current educational practices, policies, and instructional strategies.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership.
• Ensure programs align with applicable educational standards and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in education, program development, teaching, or a related field.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and educational stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or a related discipline.
• Experience working with K–12 schools, higher education, or education-focused nonprofit organizations.
• Knowledge of Washington, DC education systems and regulations.
• Experience developing curriculum, training programs, or educational resources.
