Electrical Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

To execute electrical and instrumentation Preventive and proactive maintenance works. Condition monitoring of Equipments & Electrical switch gears.

DIMENSIONS

EHS :

• Respect all safety rules as per HARSCO standards and work should be as per Procedures.
• Must obey the customer and Harsco safety rules and policies
• Ensure Participation in all the company safety event.
• Shouldn’t allow anyone to work unsafe manner 
• Ensure to know the all aspects and impacts of your workplace prior to each task and to protect environment as per company standard.
• Ensure to execute all best practices at work by provide training.
• Adequate training for EHS and Job specific training to the direct workers.

Financial:

• Belt weighed calibration and maintenance activities, due to contractor payment based on belt scale reading.
• Effective utilization of equipment
• Plant maintenance and spares should be within the financial plan
• Weigh bridge and belt scale inspections and periodical check list to follow.

Non-Financial:

• To execute preventive maintenance activities of Electrical & Instrumentation system.
• To execute scheduled maintenance of Electrical machines, equipment’s, Instruments etc.
• To guide shift electrical technician during trouble shooting of Electrical machines & analyse Electrical circuit drawing for interlocks & protection.
• Analyse equipment’s condition by regular field visits & condition monitoring techniques.
• Coordination with third party vendors during testing & calibration of Protective Relays, Thermography study, meter calibrations etc.
• Carry out scheduled calibration of weighing instruments & record keeping.
• Carry out Electrical safety check lists, Conveyor safety check list, Process interlocks checking & record keeping.
• Supervision of work activities during breakdown maintenance.
• Maintaining safety standards and adhering to electrical codes
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues/malfunctioning as and when required
• Reviewing work procedures and suggesting improvement measures
• Coordinating with on-site personnel like electricians, Mechanical technicians, and operators to ensure proper workflow
• Involvement during preparation of Risk assessments, procedures & work activity planning
• Basic knowledge on PLC & SCADA & Capable of understating interlocks & System protections.
• To impart technical trainings on SMP, SOP, Risk assessments, Job safety awareness for technicians.
• Keeping track on statutory compliances relevant to Electrical aspects & closure of findings.
