Your responsibilities will include:
Manage and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and intellectual rigor.
Leverage your background in system design and engineering to guide technical architecture and code quality.
Partner closely with US-based product, design, and executive teams to align on vision and delivery.
Lead hiring efforts in Taipei to scale the engineering organization, implementing necessary structures and processes without sacrificing speed.
Handle and re-prioritize a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment, turning challenges into opportunities to level up.
You have:
A background as a former engineer with a deep understanding of system design.
5+ years of experience in Engineering; 2+ years minimum of experience managing engineering teams.
Proven experience in a fast-moving startup
High English and Mandarin proficiency to communicate effectively with a global team.
A total willingness to work flexible, nightly hours to collaborate with our U.S. team.
A clear leadership philosophy and the ability to mentor leads and scale structures.
Experience in Fintech, Marketplaces, or Healthcare is a significant plus.
