Position Summary
Owns global manufacturing strategy, capacity outlook, and performance management across external CMOs. Establishes network governance routines (KPIs, performance reviews, escalation paths) to drive predictable execution aligned to demand, inventory strategy, and launch timelines. Partners with Quality to support compliant execution and sustained inspection readiness and coordinates resolution of supply-impacting quality events. Aligns with CMC / MSAT on tech transfers, process changes, and validation readiness so technical deliverables support on-time supply. Sponsors continuous improvement across reliability, yield, cycle time, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Network Strategy, Capacity & Performance

  • Own network capacity outlook and performance cadence across sites / CMOs, drive corrective actions for gaps
  • Align manufacturing priorities to supply plans, inventory targets, and launch / cutover commitments
  • Produce deliverables such as network capacity reviews, performance scorecards, and recovery plans

Compliance & Technical Readiness

  • Partner with Quality to maintain compliant execution and inspection readiness, coordinate responses to supply-impacting quality events
  • Coordinate with CMC / MSAT on transfers, changes, and validation dependencies, escalate risks to milestones
  • Produce deliverables such as readiness trackers and cross-functional risk / decision packs

Continuous Improvement & Best Practice Scaling

  • Sponsor CI initiatives (yield, cycle time, reliability, cost) and scale effective practices across the network
  • Ensure consistent KPI definitions and reporting to enable comparable performance management
  • Produce deliverables such as CI charters, KPI definitions, and best-practice playbooks

Required Qualifications

  • BS+ (Engineering, Physical Science, Supply Chain, or related)
  • 18+ years manufacturing / network leadership with site / CMO governance experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing capacity constraints and performance recovery in complex networks

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical / biotech GMP manufacturing and external manufacturing models (preferred)
  • Experience leading launch readiness governance and multi-site / CMO tech transfer coordination
