Facility Engineer – Gas Systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, inspect, service, and improve semiconductor manufacturing gas systems and related equipment.
  • Review specifications, verify capacity, coordinate connections, and manage construction activities for gas systems associated with new production equipment installations.
  • Review and assess gas system capacity, layout, and safety requirements in connection with production capacity expansion, and propose improvements as needed.
  • Investigate the root causes of equipment failures, implement temporary countermeasures, and develop and execute permanent corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production Engineering, EHS, contractors, and other relevant departments and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience maintaining semiconductor manufacturing gas systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of and practical experience with semiconductor manufacturing gas systems.
  • Experience coordinating facility-side activities for equipment installation, facility modification work, or production equipment start-up.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with related departments and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the design, installation, maintenance management, or safety management of semiconductor manufacturing gas systems.
  • Class C Chemical High-Pressure Gas Production Safety Manager certification, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Experience in facility management at a semiconductor factory, cleanroom, or manufacturing site.
  • Experience with production equipment installation, capacity expansion projects, or equipment capacity evaluation.
  • Basic English communication skills.
