Finance Operations Specialist
TLDR
Own critical customer-related financial operations, including invoicing and renewals, and drive data integrity, process optimization, and scalable automation across teams.
You'll own key billing processes, including subscription management, invoicing and dunning.
You'll serve as a trusted operational partner for commercial teams, assisting with questions related to pricing, quoting and internal deal structuring.
You'll manage customer operational requests related to purchase orders, supplier portals, payment methods, and billing inquiries.
You'll maintain high standards of data quality across systems and proactively identify and resolve inconsistencies that impact reporting, processes, or customer experience.
You'll analyze existing workflows and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support operational scalability.
You'll lead recurring operational reviews, reconciliations, and data validation activities to ensure accuracy across the quote-to-cash process.
You'll contribute to cross-functional projects focused on system enhancements, process optimization, automation, and AI implementation.
You'll document and improve processes, helping establish best practices that enable the Finance Operations function to scale effectively.
You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Legal, Revenue Operations, Sales and Customer Success to drive alignment and support business objectives.
You’re comfortable working in a hybrid format, with the ability to come to our St. Gallen office once per week.
You have 2-3 years of experience in Finance Operations, Revenue Operations, Accounting, Business Operations, or a related field.
You’ve worked with customer-facing financial processes such as billing, invoicing, collections, renewals, revenue operations, or order management.
You’re comfortable taking ownership of operational processes and driving improvements that create measurable impact.
You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You’re a clear and confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and explain operational concepts to different audiences.
You have advanced experience working with Excel or Google Sheets. Experience with billing and ERP platforms such as Zuora, NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar tools is a plus.
You enjoy improving systems and processes, and you're motivated by finding smarter ways of working.
You're genuinely excited about AI, and already use it to work more effectively.
You speak English fluently. German is a plus.
