Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role

This is an early engineering hire at an agentic integration platform, working directly alongside the founding team to own core systems end-to-end. You'll help build and shape the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime — the foundation everything else gets built on. It's a rare opportunity to set engineering patterns from the ground up at a company doing genuinely novel work in production AI systems.

What You'll Do

• Own the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end-to-end.

• Establish engineering patterns and standards that every future hire will build upon.

• Ship to production constantly, working closely with the founders on the full system.

• Help shape the architecture and direction of the platform in your first year.

What We're Looking For

• 2–9 years of engineering experience, ideally across backend systems and infrastructure.

• Strong proficiency with TypeScript; comfort with the broader stack (React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS) is a plus.

• Experience building production-grade, distributed, or agentic systems — not just prototypes.

• Background at high-caliber engineering organizations (e.g. top-tier tech, consulting, or developer tooling companies).

• Comfortable with ownership and ambiguity in an early-stage environment.

• Strong CS fundamentals and a bias for shipping working software.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 USD annually.
