Fresh Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will manage a 100,000 square feet warehouse and all operational aspects related to groceries and household essentials we offer daily to our customers.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment for all entering and working in the warehouse
• Manage, mentor and develop a team of 200 warehouse assistants with 4 shift operations  managers and ensure a productive and high-performance work environment
• Prepare and discuss operation result with business team on a weekly/daily basis
• Review operation goals with staff, on a daily basis, to determine if goals were met and apply appropriate remedial measures where necessary  
• Maintain proper resources (e.g. headcount and consumables such as tote, liner, crate, etc.) to ensure facility is operating within established labor budget and requirements by tracking labor and usage of resources and operation output for each shift
• Work closely with the planning and project teams to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all food safety & hygiene procedures and partner with Quality Assurance team to monitor cold chain temperatures
• Ensure compliance with all operation SOP, packing and bagging standard, and other QC guidelines
• Monitor and reduce operation controllable quality errors, e.g. missing/excess/damage/rotten product in customer order  
• Review operation QC error data which resulted from operation activities while maintaining warehouse overall hygiene condition is mainly operation accountable, understand the food safety program (HACCP) and never compromise the critical control point, i.e. breaking of cold chain.

Qualifications needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering or related field from accredited institution
• At least 5 years of related experience in managerial role
• Exceptional customer service
• Strong at relationship building
• Effective communication with all levels of employees
• Good data analytical skill
• Excellent with computer skill (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, WMS)
• Strong organizational and accuracy skills
• Solid background in scheduling and cost control, process management, inventory control, quality assurance and food safety
• Conversant in a regional language will be useful to manage team of diverse backgrounds
