Frontend Developer

n8n is an extendable workflow automation tool which enables you to connect anything to everything via its open, fair-code model. The company was founded in 2019, is headquartered in Berlin and raised funding from some of the best VCs and angels globally, including Felicis Ventures, Sequoia and firstminute Capital. We are looking for a frontend developer to join our growing engineering team.

• Design, build, test and ship new features for the node editor, the frontend of n8n's workflow automation tool, and n8n cloud, our SaaS application, using modern tools like Nuxt.js, Vue.js, Typescript, Webpack, Sass
• Implement new features for the website, and changes to drive SEO improvements
• Take responsibility proactively for the long-term code quality and frontend architecture, taking into account the need for security, scalability, performance and automation
• Be a part of our engineering team, coordinating closely with backend engineers to build features that seamlessly integrate together
• Work closely with cross-functional team members (product managers, designers), along with the founder and senior management to help drive further growth of the company

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience in software engineering, ideally working with Vue.js and Typescript
• Strong experience in frontend styling using HTML, CSS and other javascript frameworks
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, etc.
• Interest in open source
• Bonus points: experience with design tools such as Figma; backend development experience and/or SEO knowledge
• Able to be proactive in identifying and solving problems independently and efficiently
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, team spirit and empathy
• Excited to join an early stage startup on a mission to give everyone who uses a computer technical superpowers
